With reference to your letter of the

2nd May, No.53901/38 concerning the Asiatic

Petroleum Company's proposed new installation at

Hong Kong, I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners

of the Admiralty to request that, as this question

appears to affect all three Defence Departments, it

may be referred to the Overseas Defence Committee

for consideration.
